Neither walking nor noise causes miscarrages. By 18 weeks the chance of miscarriage is VERY low.

No honestly, i guarantee everything is fine! Some people do that sort of activity daily to keep them as energetic as possible. You;re 18 weeks so the chances of losing the baby aren;t very high anyway. Not only that, noise wouldn;t affect the baby. You;re fine and so is your little princess, try and chill out :) xx

I doubt it. My boyfriend plays in a band and they play LOUD. One of the other guy;s girlfriends kept showing up to their practices and shows and she was pregnant and she smoked... Her baby is fine (and is out of the womb now). However, I would be worried to and I would probably avoid it anyways. Call your doctor anyways or google loud sounds during pregnancy.

from walking? nope. from noise? no. unless you let yourself get dehydrated then there;s no way this could harm your baby at all. I take it you are staying active and walking every day and exercising every couple of days? If not I;m surprised your doctor hasn;t told you to start (because of the benefits to your baby in terms of a healthier heart etc, increased circulation, increased fitness and an easier pregnancy and birth and easier and faster recovery) and you;re not experiencing back pain and ligament pain and muscle strain. Unless, has your doctor given instructions for bedrest and not to exert yourself? If he did and you broke his instructions, I wouldn;t do it again, but it sounds like you;re both fine.

you are going to be fine, and so is your baby! if you had lifted huge things, or run a marathon, there might be a small chance of something happening, if you were already having a risky pregnancy. but just walking wont do a thing except make you tired.... i understand how you feel though, had the same thing after i finally got pregnant...good luck! congrats!

No u won;t lose her from noises or activities like walking. u should keep active as it helps u, if u dnt do activities for 22 weeks and go into labour naturaly it will be difficult for u as u won;t be fit! pregnancy isn;t a reason to stop living u just can;t do heavy lifting it;s later stages of pregnancy u need to be more careful not to over do it as u will get tired very quickly!

No worries :)Normal physical activities such as walking, bending stretching..etc, are perfectly safe during pregnancy. Baby has a lot of cushion in there!

I think it;s very reasonable to apply to all of those schools. I just finished my second year at Georgia Tech, which was my second choice next to MIT. I had a very similar, well-rounded, high-achieving high school resume and in looking back upon the last couple years, this is the advice/insight I have to offer:MIT is a reach for everybody. They have over 10,000 applicants each year for about 1,000 undergrad slots. They have an overabundance of "qualified" candidates. Probably about 80-90% of the people applying there have records that look just like yours, and the selection committee and interviewers at MIT have to try to select who they think will best fit MIT. That being said, it;s your essays and your interview that really differentiate yourself from everybody else. So my advice for MIT, strive to make your application and your interview show who you really are, what you really like, what makes you you. You don;t get in for being more qualified than the other people, you get in for fitting in there, so show them who you are and see if they think you fit them.Which leads me to my second bit of advice; it doesn;t really matter where you go to school. If MIT or any other university decide you;re not the best fit for them, they probably know what they;re talking about and you probably fit in better somewhere else, which isn;t a bad thing. All of the schools you have listed are good schools. Where you go to college matters a lot less than what you do in college. Do well in your classes, get to know the professors whose classes/research you enjoy or are interested in, meet people who share your interests, and don;t be too focused on the future to enjoy where you are. The rest should pretty much fall in place.
