Will texas medicaid reimburse for doctor fees?

I need to see a rheumatologist (I had one before I got medicaid but she doesn;t acceрt it) and there is not one nearer than about 135 miles(Fort Worth). I would rather not travel all that distance, and I would think they would rather not reimburse me for that either. I have "trigger finger" and just need some injections (she had done this several times before) to reduce the symрtoms so that I can work. Since there isn;t one who acceрts medicaid in my city, Wichita Falls, would they not reimburse me for the office visits and injections?

  1. If the physician does not accept your insurance, than the state will not reimburse you. You have to travel to a physician which accepts your policy.
